Sep 06 WR Rally 2011 NUMBERS

Everyone is asking about the NUMBERS!!! It will take some time to enter all registrations but... we have a traffic count from Dept. of Transportation. From Thursday afternoon until late Monday night there were over 48,000 vehicles (both motorcycles and cars) going into Digby and over 50,000 coming out of Digby on the 303 highway (the main road into Digby). This does not include Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (morning) traffic, or motorcycles diverted to the Digby Neck highway (#217) nor does it include the significant number of bikes that arrived by the Ferry from New Brunswick. We will have a better breakdown as soon as possible. A preliminary breakdown of these numbers would put us at 25,000 to 27,000 motorcycles travelling to the Wharf Rat Rally 2011!!!
